First time at this small town in Namibia

About two weeks ago, I went to Oranjemund with work.  Before the Local Authority elections,  Almost everything in Oranjemund such as the hospitals, schools, houses and much more belonged to Namdeb. After the elections, the Gov of Namibia will take over. Currently people can not buy houses, or own business easily.  But this will change soon. People will be able to buy houses, and own business.
Interesting things I found about Oranjemund.
White people(Boers) shop in the same shop as black people and they mingle well together unlike in Windhoek. White(Boers)  people smile, and they look happier compared to the Boers in Whk. People don't lock their houses often, and young girls are free to walk at 12am. I think this will change once the town open ups. There is only one main shop (Spar), and very expensive.
99% of the schools I visited bought Yambeka Children Story books. They were very happy, and asking for more titles. The weather was interesting apparently it rain once or twice per year. It was cold most of the time. I really had a great time. Thank you to my friend Beatha and her siblings for accommodating me.
I had an opportunity to visit the Orange River too.

Here are some of the pictures!
