Ndamona @ Seven months

My baby girl turned 7 months November 1. I'm still breastfeeding, and have started giving her three meals everyday like rice cereal, squash, yum and much more. Ndamona sleeps through the night, but wakes up to eat every 2- 3 hours, then go right back to sleep;this is very tiring because I just get one to two hours sleep then baby girl wakes up again, feed her, then it might take me an hour to go back to sleep, by the time I sleep for an hour, she gets up again. I think she is old enough to sleep without eating at night. I don't think she's really hungry, I think it's more of a habit. I could have wait until she turns 9 -12 months to break the habit, but I'm overly tired. It's about time I get my full night sleep. It has been 11 months since I slept for at least 4 hours. Can you believe it? During January of 08, I was put on bed rest and took terbutaline (medicine to reduce the contractions) every 4 hours 24/7 until April. Once the baby arrived, she kept me up all days and all nights long. I started training her since this week Monday, but she kept winning me because I don't want to hear her cry for longer than an hour. I'm determined to see her sleeping without eating at night. Right now I wish for a 5 hour long sleep. Women are the most strong people on earth. When it come deep to it, even if I don't get enough sleep right now its ok, my kids come first and I know the sleepless night won't last forever; before I know it, I'll be asking Ndamona to stay awake to listen to my stories or watch a good movie with me.

CNN Reports Borack Obama elected President

Congratulations President - Elect Obama This is like a dream coming true to many people. Not in my wildest dream I thought I'll see a black President in USA in my life time. As we sat down at tonight watching the Election result, Obama took off strong. It was an exciting moment ever.

The month of November

We're listening to Christmas chorus at this moment. It's only November, but I'm already in the spirit. Christmas has always been my favorite fest since my childhood. I was so happy when I came to the States to learn that people start with the decorations around end of November. Some stores has started with the decorations already. Currently, I'm working on two kids books both Oshiwambo and English. I plan to finish these books before Christmas. I'm extremely busy these days, I don't know how I'm going to pull this off.

A new carmaker has a plan for cheap, environmentally friendly cars to be built all over the country

An air-powered car? It may be available sooner than you think at a price tag that will hardly be a budget buster. The vehicle may not run like a speed racer on back road highways, but developer Zero Pollution Motors is betting consumers will be willing to fork over $20,000 for a vehicle that can motor around all day on nothing but air and a splash of salad oil, alcohol or possibly a pint of gasoline.
