Lil' Chef

Lil' B enjoys helping in the kitchen; thus, I decided to make him this outfit. The chef hat is a combination of two old white and stripe shirts; for the apron I used material left from the new curtains I just designed, and the Diego apron pocket I removed it from an old book bag. He really had fun working on this project. Now he's asking me to create a cooking show with him.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas to you, and your family. Don't forget the true meaning of Christmas. Jesus was born in Bethlehem. As a tradition, my parents, siblings and I usually open Christmas gifts on Christmas eve, go to church at 5am on Christmas day. After church, we cook, eat, and sing Christmas carols all day long. Sometimes I miss those days; however, I tell myself that I have my family now, and it's time for me to create my own tradition. In today's world, if you ask an average child about Christmas, the first thing that would probably come to their mind is present, and Santa. Today I had a conversation with my son about Christmas. I could see in his eyes how excited he was to see what Santa will bring him tomorrow when he wakes up. I was excited to see his face, at the same time, I felt like telling him about the true meaning of Christmas. He was so interested to hear more.
