February is the Black History Month in the US!

Black History month began in 1926, and originally called "Negro History Week." The Black History Month is credited to Dr.Carter G. Woodson to bring national attention to the involvement of black people in America. Dr. Woodson, a Harvard educated scholar, initiated the Black History month because he discovered that there was little mention of African American's in history textbooks. To learn more visit the free Wikipedia, and many other only resources. Many activities will be available for adults, youth and children around the States; thus I urge you to celebrate in the Black History Month.
